Happy Valentine's Day! Congratulations to all you happy couples out there.
To all the singletons like me: I'll be honest, today is just another school day for me. Nothing too exciting. But it almost was something more. And before you assume I'm talking about my personal love life—I assure you, it's still non-existent.
What I'm talking about is my current WIP: The Matchmakers. When January 27 came and went without me being able to finish the first draft, much less publish the novel, I briefly entertained the idea of miraculously finishing the book for a Valentine's Day publication. Obviously, that isn't happening.
But, I can now say that my homework load is becoming more manageable and I am dedicated to taking advantage of my free time to write, revise, and edit this story until I can finally deliver it to you all!

Love is a science in the 23rd Century.
Rosemary is only seventeen years old. So why is she being Matched a year early? And to the President’s son within twenty-four hours of a terrorist attack?
When her older sister is tied to the crime, Rosemary must discover the secrets of her society—and grapple with the possibility that the Matchmakers were wrong.
Is it possible to find love in a society controlled by logic and science?
The Matchmakers is a YA dystopian romance novel. Zara Hoffman's immersive world, three-dimensional characters, and political intrigue will keep you hooked from the very first page.
I'm a self-published author (because being a college student wasn't hard enough!) and spend most of my time doing homework. I write YA multi-genre fiction for young adults or the young at heart. I love NCIS, BBC's Sherlock,
