It's now officially 2017 (it has been for more than 24 hours at this point, but I needed a day to recuperate after New Year's Eve—I stayed up late with family at a party and was exhausted afterwards). Anyway, if you need a refresher on why I chose "success" for my OneWord365 this year, you can find that explanation here. I'll just wait here... Ready? Okay.
I now have officially less than 2 weeks, I'm moving into my new living arrangement at Boston University. I still don't know where, exactly—something I'm trying hard to not freak out over. And since I can't register for classes until the last day of orientation, I really have no idea how my next 4 months are going to look.
But what I do know is that I'm going to have a good time there. Every time I'm on campus, I just start smiling—something that never applied to my old school. And if that's not a good sign, I don't know what is. As trite as it may be, starting school will be the foreseeable highlight of my 2017. Here's to a brighter 2017!
What about you? What are you most excited about in the new year?
I'm a self-published author (because being a college student wasn't hard enough!) and spend most of my time doing homework. I write YA multi-genre fiction for young adults or the young at heart. I love NCIS, BBC's Sherlock,
