Being kidnapped by the Leader of the Fae really puts a dent in your senior year.
Aurora Marshall is sharp, witty, and always has a plan. Ready to finish her business degree and graduate, her life is going smoothly—until the night she meets Tristan Westbrook.
Tristan, the overbearing, gorgeous fae leader, and an admired businessman in the human world, is all kinds of dangerous. While he finds Aurora intriguing, her refusal to bend to his will keeps them locked in a constant power struggle.
Entering into a deal is the only way to escape Tristan’s clutches, which only plunges Aurora deeper into the fae world. With her future at stake, she is forced to handle his arrogance and extraordinary fae abilities as she fights to stay grounded in her mundane life.
Not to mention her struggle to ignore the growing attraction she knows she shouldn’t feel for the man who kidnapped her.
When people said college would be the most exciting time of her life, Aurora never thought this is what they meant.
I can't believe it's taken me so long to read this story. It came out on October 4, and I literally had NO chance to read it because I was bogged down in papers, exams, and then final papers and final exams, not to mention needing to pack up my dorm room to get it stored for my transfer in January. Anyway, I love this book just as much as I did when I first beta'd it a while back (sometime around 2014, when I was Melissa's PA & she was actively drafting Book 2—which meant I read each chapter as it came out with bated breath).
I can't tell you all how excited I am about being able to share this.
I've been friends with Sierra for about 5 years, and became a beta reader for her 2 years ago for another story (which I edited—and am still waiting for her to either
I also beta read this story and absolutely love the story of Bee and Levi, and know everyone else will too.
About 2 and a half weeks ago, Sierra announced her decision to self-publish The Color Project, formed a street team (known as the Glitter Bombs, thank you very much), and has been teasing us with all the things we will eventually be sharing on the internet (it's some awesome stuff, so I'd keep an eye on anything related to this book).
The first thing on that list is, of course, the book description. While it's been up on Goodreads for about the same time (and since cracked the top 100 in 6 of the 7 Goodreads lists its on—Including #1 on this list), it hasn't had an official blurb posted yet.
And that's what you're here for today! Unfortunately, I have no idea when a cover will be ready, so we all will have to wait for that exciting day. In the meantime, add The Color Project to your TBR list, and follow Sierra all over the internet (see buttons below) to keep apprised of any forthcoming news about this story.
I'm a self-published author— because being a college student wasn't hard enough! I write YA multi-genre fiction for young adults or the young at heart. I love This Is Us, NCIS, BBC's Sherlock,
