TCWT: "Write a retelling of your favorite fairytale, myth, or legend."
ZH: Well, I'm already writing an Alice in Wonderland novel, Where Madness Dwells, and it's possible I'll write other retellings since I've always loved the darker side of fairytales.
Another dystopian novel where nothing is what it seems and the protagonist must show society its errors… but so much better!
Set in Chicago in the not so distant future, Veronica Roth’s Divergent is the new Dystopian trilogy everyone’s talking about. In the novel, people live in five different factions, which are each “dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue:” selflessness, peace, bravery, honesty, and intelligence. In a world based on synergy, the possibility of dissent is unimaginable. When one of the factions goes rogue, no one is prepared for the consequences.
Okay, I signed myself up for these and I will admit it: I am probably the ONLY person happy to have homework/classes/order during the summer. As much as I love not having to go to school during the summer, endless hours with no structure drive me up a wall, so this is what I'm doing to fix the issue. So I'll be very busy. I'm also beginning to post book reviews (way overdue I know for someone who reads so much: I have 124 to write...and counting I'm still remembering books I've read).
I'm a self-published author— because being a college student wasn't hard enough! I write YA multi-genre fiction for young adults or the young at heart. I love This Is Us, NCIS, BBC's Sherlock,
