TCWT: What are examples of books you’ve thrown across the room with force? Why did you throw them?
ZH: Lord of the Flies, 1984, and The Red Queen. All three of them I read for school (the latter 2 were of my own choice, but I was writing long papers on them, and by the end I was ready to pull my hair out). The reason I threw them was because the themes were disturbing (not an issue with me), but the writing was very dense and I was at the point in the school year that I just wanted to kick back, relax, and NOT work.
Here's just SOME of the music I listen to while writing. You will notice that they all have lyrics. I don't do very well with instrumentals while I'm writing, it's the emotion of the lyrics that get me writing. Anyway, here they are. What music do you like to listen to? Sound off below in the comments.
I'm a self-published author (because being a college student wasn't hard enough!) and spend most of my time doing homework. I write YA multi-genre fiction for young adults or the young at heart. I love NCIS, BBC's Sherlock,
